The J5 Marine Hybrid fluorescent aquarium lamp is now also available in six new lamp lengths to suit the latest Juwel® T5 aquariums.

The Marine Hybrid is a new J5 lamp formulation based on a 60/40 phosphor mix of our Marine White 14K and Marine Blue 420nm lamps. The resultant spectrum of the lamp combines high brightness, with large amounts of energy in the photosynthetic wavelengths required for coral growth.

With a strong actinic peak to fluoresce corals, the Marine Hybrid lamp emphasises blue and violet colours in the aquarium, without flattening reds and greens, giving a natural reef appearance.

For smaller aquariums the Hybrid lamp works well on its own or combined with the Marine white lamp, while in larger J5 lamp arrays, a mix of Arcadia Marine Blue, Marine Hybrid and Marine White lamps will produce excellent results.
